What Would Jay-Z Do?

I've been working on the second project for Mosaic, "The Bleedening." We are officially in the development phase and hoping to begin shooting in the spring of 2013. It's been two years in the making and I'm really anxious to see it manifest. Not just because it will be a fantastic gory film - projectile blood vomit, you know you want it -  but because I have other projects tugging on my shirt like an annoying child in the supermarket. It's great to have a major project complete, but I gotta make like Jay-Z and get on to the next one.

Advice for Writers: Flow Baby Flow

"We are writers, and we never ask one another where we get our ideas; we know we don't know." - Stephen King
I used to think of myself as a wizard. Writing was like conjuring a ball of light that turned to fire in my hands and I had to hold it until the last possible second before I threw it down. Writing leaves you burnt, exhausted, and in desperate need of more mana.

From the Vault: Jackson Sabre, P.I.

Back in the days when I was a teenager, before I had status and before I had a pager... I was (was?) a weird art school girl who skipped class to write morbid poetry and to make films. Thanks to the internet, my work completed at Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts is here to enjoy!

First Bite: Truckstop Bloodsuckers Episode 1

Everyone has been asking me if their children can watch Truckstop Bloodsuckers. Why the hell not? Sure, we have a couple of choice words, a little bit of blood, and some male nudity (think Will Ferrell in Old School) so I guess you'll have to decide how corrupted your child is at this point. I mean, if they watch a television at all then they can handle this for sure. But if you have one of those precious gems who chases butterflies and still believes in Santa, then keep them home-schooled and share this when they turn 16.
